This is the first quilt I ever longarm quilted! I rented time on a longarm at Orchid Owl Quilts and made this quilt for practicing on the longarm. Needless to say, I was immediately hooked and fell in love with longarm quilting. A few months later, I had purchased an Innova Classic from Vicki and have been over the moon to offer custom quilting since! This quilt was made from the “Alabama” quilt pattern by Joz Makes Quilts using a jelly roll from Moda’s “Purebred II” fabric line and Kona “Bone” solid. This quilt lives on our bed during the winter months. It brings me so much joy to look at it and remember fondly how I got started on this journey.
